Proton Magnetometer
The G-856 proton
precession magnetometer is a rugged and reliable portable magnetometer. It
consists of two sensors and an electronics package. The G-856 provides 0.1
gamma data at a 3 second sample rate. Typical applications include archeology,
mining, oil and gas exploration, fault mapping and environmental surveys.
Cesium Magnetometer
The G-858 system
consists of a belt-mounted display/logging console connected to a cesium sensor
mounted on a hand-held counterbalanced staff. The console contains electronics
to acquire magnetic field data with position and display it on an LCD screen
for review and edit. The console stores high volumes of data in memory. Following
the survey the data is transmitted at high speed to a processing computer for
detailed analysis.
